The vice president of marketing for Nokia mobile phones, Blanca Juti, has been responsible for introducing the new Nokia Asha Series. The company wants to bring the mobile internet connection to emerging countries like India; where there are 850 million mobile subscribers have no internet. The company produces every second 12 terminals, making an interesting production line to reach the millions of users who demand the technology.

Nokia Asha consists of five new terminals. Nokia is Asha 200, 201, 300 and 301. Its main task is to bring Internet connectivity to mobile devices to those considered in developing countries.

These new terminals have a similar appearance to the popular RIM Blackberry and are available in various colors: green, blue, black and red. Its Qwerty keyboard, touch screens, powerful multimedia features and several processor models are its main features.

The Nokia Asha 303 is one of four new Symbian S40 mobile phones that are specifically targeted at countries that are developing. This Nokia Asha 303 is the most advanced specifications in terms of the four, but fortunately this unit and also feature a very low price. The phone has a 2.6 inch touchscreen and a 1 Ghz strong processor. These specs are combined in one device with the slider format.

This Nokia Asha 303 has developed keeping in mind about the Internet and social media. The touchscreen is of course very useful for Internet browsing. Furthermore, standard Nokia applications for social media are preinstalled on the device.  The popular Angry Birds game is standard available on the Nokia Asha 303.
