The Sony Xperia P is a 2.3 Android smartphone (an Android 4.0 update will follow) with a full one-piece aluminum design. Remarkably, the Xperia P is the first smartphone with the White Magic-display technology from Sony. This technology is the (4-inch) screen in all circumstances – even in bright sunlight – easy to read. The Xperia P has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 16GB memory, an 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD VCR which provides support for 3G/HSDPA, WiFi and NFC (with the Xperia Smart Tags). Apps and entertainment can be found via the Android Market and the Sony Entertainment Network. The new Smart Dock, exclusively for Xperia P provides a convenient connection to multiple screens, making the smartphone turns into an entertainment hub for the living room. With the support of Smart USB Dock, you can also connect a wireless keyboard and mouse. The Xperia P comes in silver, red or black. Simultaneously with this model, 3.5-inch Xperia Y is announced.
