The Sony Xperia Go is a rugged smartphone with Android 2.3 Gingerbread (will be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich later) and a bright 3.5-inch Reality Display that uses Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine. The Xperia Go is an IP67 certified and that means it is dust and water resistance. The screen is scratch-resistant made of mineral glass and is operated with Sony’s wet finger tracking technology. With the 5-megapixel camera, it is possible to capture a picture in just over a second. The camera also features an LED flash, a Sweep Panorama mode and 720p HD video recorder. In terms of connectivity, it has WiFi, DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1, 3G/HSDPA, WiFi and WiFi hotspot functionality and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support. The 8GB memory is expandable with microSD. Plus you get 50GB of temporary free cloud storage available to you. Apps including Facebook, Twitter / Timescape, YouTube, Skype, Google Talk, Music Unlimited, Play the Google Store (Android Market) and Office Suite Pro pre-installed. The Sony Xperia Go comes in black, white and yellow color.

The Sony Xperia Go is a rugged smartphone with a weight of 110 grams. The dimensions of the smartphone are 11.10 x 6.00 x 1.00 inches. Speaking time (under ideal conditions) is 330 minutes. The standby time is 460 hours under these conditions.

The Sony Xperia Go supports GSM 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz networks. With the Xperia Go, you can access fast mobile internet with the support of HSDPA and UMTS. The Sony Xperia Go can send and receive text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages. Thanks to the email support, you can simply read your own emails. Vibrating alert and polyphonic or MP3 ringtones are of course standard.
