The Samsung Wave 3 (S8600) is the official successor of the Samsung Wave II. It is just 9.9 millimeters thin device runs on the new bada 2.0 operating system, which includes direct and WiFi (optional) NFC support. The Samsung Wave 3 has a sleek aluminum design and a bright 4-inch superAMOLED touchscreen. The 1.4 GHz processor with the TouchWiz interface (with the Social Music Hub and Hub) provides fast multitasking. For connectivity, in addition to WiFi, it has 3G/HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, push email and a 3.5 mm port to connect any standard headset. Bada apps can be found in Samsung’s App Store. At the back of the Samsung Wave 3, there is a 5-megapixel camera (with autofocus and LED flash), with which you can take 720p HD quality videos. At the front, there is a VGA webcam to join video chat. Navigation is possible by a GPS; there is a built-in digital compass and Google Maps. The Wave 3 has 3GB of memory, expandable through microSD. Bada is the mobile open source system from Samsung. It is based on Linux. Bada applications can be downloaded from the Samsung Apps Store.
