The HCL ME Tablet U1 is an Android tablet created and developed by the Indian Multi-National Company, HCL Technologies Limited. The idea behind this table pc is that the HCL is offering online course on Android Technology with HCL certification. The device runs on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It has 7.0” WVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels screen resolution and 0.3 Megapixels front camera for video calling. The ME Tablet U1 is powered by ARM Cortex-A8 1 Ghz processor based on ARMv7 architecture, 512MB DDR3 RAM and 4 GB Internal Storage memory expandable via MicroSD up to 32GB.
The HCL ME Tablet U1 features 3.5mm jack, HTML/ Flash Browser, A-GPS support, Java MIDP emulator, media player and powerful 3600mAH Li-Ion battery. The connectivity with this tablet pc is possible through external USB, Wifi and 3G/CDMA USB Dongle.
