The NComputing X550 is ideal for businesses, governments, public access, classrooms and computer labs.
Each kit of the X-series contains the powerful desktop virtualization software vSpace winning, a PCI card and XD2 access devices. The NComputing X550 kit adds five users on a computer capacity. Configuration is a piece of cake: just install the PCI card and virtualization software on the shared computer. You then connect the terminal to access the PCI card with standard cables. Finally, each user must connect the screen, keyboard and mouse access to its terminal, that’s it. It’s as simple as plugging in a device. Multiple users can now enjoy their own independent virtual desktops. Add a second kit and more users can simultaneously share the same computer (up to 11 with the X550).
The set consists of H550 PCI cards, a 5-terminal XD2, as well as software for next-generation virtualization vSpaceTM. Just install the PCI card into an available PCI slot and connect your computer the required number of terminal devices using standard Ethernet cables. Connect the monitor, mouse and keyboard for each additional workstation. For the second set, perform the same procedure – and working space for 11 seats ready to go!
Easy to use
User in most cases does not even notice that it works with the terminal. Thus, there is no need of special training to learn how to use it.
