A Tablet or Tablet PC is a type of portable computer with which you can interact through a screen touch or multitouch, user can use a pen stylus or finger, without physical keyboard or mouse.
The term became popular in 2001 when the American company Microsoft introduced the concept minicomputer trademark of the Microsoft Tablet PC. Today, the tablet is used primarily to refer to the gadget or the devices controlled mainly by touch screen, but not with the intention to implement operating systems for PCs in general, or applications of them.
On the other hand, some tablets feature a jack of 3.5 or HDMI to connect to a TV or computer monitor.
