Adobe today launched the Android Market a version compatible with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich’s Flash Player. This is good news, but comes with some bugs.
Adobe has just made available on the Android Market a version of its Flash Player compatible with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). Earth can start running for the fans who have a Flash Android smartphone. It must be said that the announcement of the Judgment of Flash support on mobile devices a few weeks ago was pretty badly by many users. The Flash is one of the main arguments of differentiation between Android and its main competitors, IOS, Windows Phone or Blackberry OS. The output of the Samsung Nexus Galaxy without flash drive had added fuel to the fire, but Adobe had quickly announced its intention to launch a last update of the Flash player for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The editor has kept his word, since the Flash player has appeared on the Android Market as you can see from the screenshots below. The good news is accompanied by still some bugs already listed on Adobe’s website. Among the problems that you would be able to meet on ICS:
• In a fast forward in a video is paused, the image does not update
• The Stage Video using On2 and Sorenson do not work
• The contents PHDS are read with pop-ups audio
• More annoying: ICS does not give priority to incoming calls. So, if you watch a video, its sound will remain active as before and during the call
