Acer has announced the launch of a new tablet, it is the Iconia Tab A200, multi-purpose device primarily aimed at entertainment and home productivity allows us to play games, read books, listen to music, watch movies and access to our social networks preferred, Acer has also been concerned that this tablet is accessible to the average user, setting a reasonable price.
The display of this tablet is 10.1 inches with 1280 x 800 resolution and multi-touch capabilities, the NVIDIA Tegra processor is a dual core 2 processing 1GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 or 16GB of storage memory, port USB, MicroSD slot and 2MP webcam for video chat with friends and family, its dimensions are 260 x 175 x 12.4 mm and weighs only 720 g.
The new Acer Iconia Tab A200 will be distributed initially with Honeycomb 2.3 Android operating system in some countries since November, but it is only since January of next year that will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, users obviously the version can upgrade to Android Honeycomb without problem.
Unlike other economic tablets, the Iconia Tab A200 is not bulky, and its design is actually quite nice, there are two options available in titanium gray and metallic red.
Acer has created a great concept for its user interface, which has already been used in their devices, it allows a direct and almost instantaneous access to applications, since the screen on which we meet, we also offers the possibility of making screenshots in a very simple and from any application in which we are, the Iconia Tab A200 also has its own social hub called Acer SocialJogger that integrates in a single location used social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
