Acer Aspire V3 and V5 laptops Launched

Last week, Acer launched two new laptops, the Aspire Series V3 and V5. Both models are based on an Intel processor and NVIDIA GeForce graphics and come in different screen sizes on the market. The V3 Series is available in 14”, 15.6” and 17.3” size and is equipped with Dolby Home Theater v4 technology and a Blu-ray drive. These laptops have a Gigabit network connection, an HDMI output, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a so-called HD Acer Crystal Eye webcam. The largest model has a 17.3” screen resolution of 1600×900 pixels, of the other models that are not detail in the press release. With this laptop Acer clear.fi 2.0 should be able to all multimedia devices in the home to identify and manage media in different locations. The Aspire V3 also has a card reader and USB 3.0 technology on board. It is also possible to connect devices via USB to charge this laptop if the laptop is off. The back of the screen has a glossy finish and a color that matches that of the palm rest for the keyboard. The laptop will be available in black, gold, silver and dark gray.

The Aspire Series V5, unlike what you might expect, smaller than the V3. Thus, this model only in a 11.6”, 14” and 15.6” format on the market. The strong point of the V5 Series is the sleek design, according to Acer to 30% thinner than other laptops in this category.
