Google and Samsung together brings Samsung Nexus Prime in October. The new Nexus device would have a Super AMOLED display with 720p HD resolution and run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Nexus Prime device would be Google’s new Android version that introduces Ice Cream Sandwich, as mentioned by the well-informed South Korean news ETNews. The reason that Samsung and Motorola not the next Google phone Nexus, is that there already was working on the project before it became clear that Google wanted to take over Motorola. The planned acquisition was announced earlier this week overall.
The rumor that the Prime Nexus in October, would have went longer, but has started to take shape more and more concrete. OLED display reports that the Super AMOLED screen HD Nexus Prime pentile a matrix layout, and no RGB layout as Super Plus AMOLED displays for example the Samsung Galaxy II. The Prime will have a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, this resolution is not yet used in smartphones, but rumors of 720p screens in a new generation of smart phones including LG, HTC and Samsung already doing the rounds.
An Italian site placed before the expected release dates in a recently leaked launch of Samsung smartphones. The GT-I9250, suspected that the Nexus Prime, would according to it, will be released in October. Nexus Prime name surfaced in June for the first time. The unit would run on an unnamed dual-core processor running at 1.5 GHz. It is expected that this is a soc-Omap4 of Texas Instruments, which also include LG’s 3D Optimus.
Last year, Samsung has the Nexus S for Google. This is a variant of Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone with a different design and support for NFC mobile payments.
