iOS 7.1 Beta 2 now available to developers
Apple has officially released iOS 7.1 beta 2 recently to developers registered in its portal, who can now start the download of the new build, the 11D5115D , available via update OTA (over-the-air) for those who have already installed the first beta . As always, the new firmware introduces a number of changes and bug fixes designed to improve the overall performance of the mobile platform.
From the aesthetic point of view the news is not much: there is some change in the color of the icons and the status bar, while the improvements are different. iOS 7.1 beta 2 is in fact more fluid and faster than the first beta, and resolves any issues born as regards the touchscreen ID and iTunes Match.
In the Accessibility Options, “Show Buttons” functionality is introduced which allows you to identify keys to navigate through screens of apps, also you removed the ability to view the dark variant of the keyboard. The animation speed has been increased, there are new logos and dialogues in Notification Center, a new Auto setting display and a display of Calendar redesigned. Finally, anyone who owns an iPad will be able to benefit from a new background to better customize the look of the device.
iOS 7.1 beta 2 can be downloaded from both the portal iOS developers, both for those who already have the first beta version, via wireless. In this second case, the developer will see in these hours a popup notification to update the device used. The Cupertino Company has not yet announced any date for the public release of the minor release of the operating system.
