HTC Zara with 4.5-inch display coming from HTC
HTC’s next announcement of a new mid-range smartphone will be HTC Zara, we’ll see, perhaps, at IFA in Berlin.
An alleged photo of HTC Zara was leaked by the courtesy of Evleaks, complete set of specifications that revealed it is a mid-range phone.
According to the rumor, HTC Zara will be equipped with the chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8930 with two Krait cores running at 1.2 GHz, 1GB of RAM and a Adreno 305 GPU. The internal memory is only 8 GB, But it is expandable via card slot microSD.
On the back, there’s a camera 8 megapixel with LED flash. While video recording capabilities are not mentioned, the camera should support video recording in Full HD to 1080p. Behind the rear panel, there is a battery 2100mAh. The battery should be more than enough to power the device which has a screen 4.5 inches (Possibly varieties of Super LCD2) and QHD resolution.
HTC Zara is the second phone that will have the interface HTC Sense 5.5 running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The other phone with such a configuration of the system is the HTC One Max, which will shortly be launched.
Judging by the photos leaked, the HTC Zara has the same arrangement of capacitive buttons as in HTC One, HTC One Mini and HTC Desire 600 dual sim. Also there are same speakers BoomSound on the top and bottom of the phone. The rear part of the phone appears to be made of opaque plastic.
There is no information on when we should expect the announcement of HTC Zara. A plausible hypothesis is that HTC will present Zara in September alongside HTC One Max, at the IFA show in Berlin.
