Archos launches Child Pad Tablet. This 7 inch tablet has been designed for small as for the larger. It runs on Ice Cream Sandwich. Hyper faired, to support all the treatments; it has a processor running at 1GHz and 1GB of RAM.
Child Pad has an embedded ecosystem with a store of 10 000 applications: ebooks (electronic books), comics, educational games.
Different apps are classified in 14 categories. The interface has been customized to appeal to toddlers, colorful icons, access to entertainment from the ignition; enough to spook some specialized constructors, because this is very promising slate touch. In addition, the Child Pad has a built-in parental control so children can safely navigate.
