HTC Sync is a Free synchronization software dedicated to HTC Android device users. It offers you the possibility to install other Android applications on the phone, and to transfer your photos, videos, documents, songs, and playlists on your Android phone. The Sync program automatically finds HTC phone connected by USB to the computer. However, you must enable the sync option on the same screen of the phone to trigger action. This version of HTC Sync is compatible with phones HTC Desire, HTC Aria, HTC Wildfire, HTC Legend and HTC Hero.

HTC Sync lists everything on the phone and displays the free space. The interface is divided into 6 parts: music, photo galleries, calendar, contacts, bookmarks and documents. Each of these areas can be synchronized individually if they have been checked in HTC Sync.

Just manually specify where to look for files on the PC to send content directly to the phone memory. Intuitive, the program also allows you to install applications directly from the desktop of the computer.

HTC Sync lets you manage multiple phones on the same interface. Then simply just slide the phone on which you want to work. Flexibility with iTunes and Apple would do well to emulate.

One problem about this application: the impossibility to transfer files from phone to PC. HTC Sync allows only transfer in one direction, from PC to phone.

HTC Sync is beautiful, practical, free and easy to use. If allowed data transfer in both directions, it is simply indispensable.

Installation Instructions:

1. Update the USB driver to version 3.0.0.021

1. Hardware Requirements (PC)

• 1GB RAM or higher recommended
• XGA (1024 x 768) or a video adapter and monitor with a higher resolution
• 300 MB of available free space on the hard disk
• USB 2.0 is required

2. Software Requirements – Supported Operating Systems (PC)

• Windows XP Home / Professional / Media Center Edition Service Pack 2 and 3 (32-Bit)
• Windows Vista Ultimate / Enterprise / Business / Home Premium / Home Basic Edition (32 & 64-bit) Service Pack 1

• Microsoft Office Outlook 2000, XP, 2003, 2007 and 2010-32 & 64 Bit.

3. Installation Instructions

1. Click on the below link to download setup file on your PC.
2. Double click to install it on your PC, and follow the Install Shield Wizard to complete the installation.
   (Suggestion: Close all active programs and temporarily disable your anti-virus program, if you have problem in installing HTC Sync)
3. Select Type “Complete” Setup for faster and easier installation process, and then press “Install” to begin the complete installation.
4. Once you see the Install Shield Wizard Completed, press “Finish” to exit the Wizard.

5. Connecting with HTC Sync

1. Use the USB cable to connect your phone to your PC
2. If the phone asks you for a type of USB connection to select, click on HTC Sync, and then tap done.
3. Wait for HTC Sync to recognize your phone. On the setup screen of your device, enter a name for your phone.
4. Click Save. Then the panel of the device will open. On the panel of the device you will find sync options, see general information on your phone, check the used and available space on your storage card, and begin synchronization.
