Importing playlists from iTunes to Windows 8
Computer users who are using Windows 8 are probably aware of the embedded Xbox Music. It’s a wonderful music app with some deficiencies. If you are a user of Windows 8 and also you own an iPhone or iPad, chances are you have some playlists in iTunes. Now suppose you are using Windows 8, you may want to import all of your playlists for Xbox Music application.
The initial version of the Xbox Music app does not allow users to import playlists from iTunes or any other music player. Microsoft has recently updated the application and now supports importing your playlists created in iTunes software.
In this guide, we will show how to import iTunes playlists from Apple to Xbox Music app in Windows 8. Complete the following steps to import playlists from iTunes to Xbox Music App:
Step 1: Switch to the Home screen and click or tap on the Mosaic Music app.
Step 2: Once the application is launched, click or tap My Music.
Step 3: On the left side of the application, click on Playlists to see Open file and the Import playlists at the bottom left of the screen. And if you are running Windows 8 on a touch screen device, swipe down lists for options in Open file and Import playlists.
Note: If the Import playlists does not appear and you can see only the Open option file, you have not updated music app to the latest version.
Step 4: Click or tap the Import playlists option and then click the Import button to start the search playlists from your music library and also on iTunes. Once imported, you can find the imported playlists.
Note: If you want to delete a playlist, just click on the name from the list and click the Delete option appears at the bottom of the screen.
