Adobe Photoshop Express for Windows 8
Adobe Photoshop is one of the best programs for editing and optimizing images. Although there are plenty of free software, Photoshop is still the most popular. Among the plans to replace your Creative Suite software with Creative Cloud service based on subscriptions, the company has launched its first application for Windows 8.
Adobe recently released Adobe Photoshop Express for Windows 8 and is available on the official Windows Store. PC users who own an Android or iOS devices are probably familiar with Photoshop Express name, as this application has been available for mobile operating systems over a year.
Like the Android and iOS versions, the Windows 8 version of Photoshop Express is also free, but includes in-app purchases to add more features and options. The application interface is excellent and goes very well with the user interface of Windows 8. With Photoshop Express, you can quickly edit and enhance images.
This initial version of Photoshop Express lets you crop, rotate, stretch and rotate your photos and also comes with the Auto-Fix to adjust the brightness, exposure and shadows. There are more than 15 filters flashy to add cool effects to your photos.
When you start the application for the first time, you go through the Getting Started Guide to learn about the features or simply clicking or tapping the jump button located at the top right to skip the guide and start using the application. The main application screen displays three options: Pictures Library, Adobe Revel and Camera.
Click or tap on Pictures Library to examine your PC and open an image you want to edit or enhance with Photoshop Express. A click or tap allows access Adobe Revel or create an account to Adobe Revel. If you do not have one, you can use your account Facebook or Google to create it. Tab Click Camera to capture a webcam image and edit it using the features available.
Adobe Photoshop Express allows easy sharing of edited images on Facebook. It even lets you upload your photos to Adobe Revel account so you can access them from other devices such as iPhone and iPad. To share the image on Facebook or upload to Revel, click or tap on the button Save / Share at the bottom right of the screen.
Although Adobe Photoshop Express is free, packets Looks and Noise Reduction are available in-app purchases. That is, it can be added by purchase from the Windows Store.
Generally Adobe Photoshop Express for Windows 8 is a good application. Users who are running Windows 8 or Windows RT on a tablet will definitely find this very useful application.
