At default settings, FileDrop saves all files transferred in the Downloads folder. You can change this location by clicking on the Downloads button and then click the Change folder that is in the box FileDrop.
When you start Windows FileDrop first, Windows Firewall (if on), display the message “Windows Firewall has blocked some features on all public and private networks.” Click the Allow button to start using FileDrop. And on Mac, you have to enable apps downloaded from System Preference> Security and Privacy.
