An easter egg for Christmas on Google Now
The Mountain View group wishes you a Merry Christmas in his own way with a cute easter egg included in the server Google Now on Android devices.
With the holidays fast approaching, the search engine wishes you a Merry Christmas in his own way with a cute easter egg hidden in the wizard Google Now. Before we see what it is, a little clarification for those who do not know what you’re talking about: these are the small animations, images, sound or video clips hidden here and there on the platform or in the services of Google, who have not no practicality from the functional point of view, are meant only and exclusively with the objective of making us smile.
As clearly shown in the video above, to enable it, just open Google Now (by pressing the virtual Home button and moving the finger upward) and then open the voice search and say the phrase “Let’s go caroling”. At this point, the classical results above, there is shown a card entitled “Which carol would you like you sing?” (“What song would you like to sing?”), with some of the most famous Christmas songs : Jingle Bells, Up on the House Top, Deck the Halls, O Christmas Tree and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Just tap to launch one, listening to the background and reading the text in a way that closely resembles to that of karaoke.
It’s a little surprise in Google’s style, to spend a few pleasant minutes. Certainly the search engine giant will celebrate Christmas with at least a doodle on the homepage of the search engine, as it has occurred for many years. The appointment is set for midnight of December 25, when the main page of Google will be decorated to welcome the arrival of Santa Claus.
